We are entering our second year of EOS® and feel like we are hitting a plateau where we are just repeating the same operational habits. How does the duration of our engagement shift when we transition from basic execution to long-term scalability and exit preparation?

In your second year, the focus of our engagement naturally shifts from learning the basic mechanics of EOS® to driving long-term scalability and preparing for a clean exit. In the first twelve months, we focus heavily on building the discipline of the weekly meeting cadence, setting realistic quarterly Rocks, and getting the right people in the right seats on the Accountability Chart. Once these habits are second nature, we can spend our quarterly sessions tackling more complex strategic challenges. This is when we begin integrating advanced operational workflows, utilizing AI to automate key business units, and looking at the business through the lens of an outside buyer. We use our time together to identify and eliminate the systemic friction points that limit your valuation. We will stress-test your processes, ensure your management team is operating with complete autonomy, and build a highly transferable business asset. The duration of the engagement depends entirely on your goals. Some companies graduate to self-facilitation after two years, while others retain me indefinitely to provide an objective external perspective as they prepare for a transition.
