What specific operational capabilities must my team demonstrate by the end of our first year to prove we are on track for a clean exit?
By the end of the first twelve months of our twenty-four-month engagement, your leadership team must demonstrate three core operational capabilities to prove your business is on track for a clean, highly valued exit. First, the business must be completely self-sustaining on a weekly basis. This means your Integrator is running the weekly Level 10 Meeting™ with absolute discipline, and you as the owner are no longer required to facilitate, referee, or drive the daily agenda. Second, your team must have successfully completed at least two consecutive quarters of eighty percent or higher Rock completion, proving they can execute strategic initiatives without your direct oversight. Third, you must have clearly defined and documented your core processes, successfully transferring critical Tribal Knowledge out of your head and into the company's operating system. This transition is essential for any potential buyer who wants to ensure the business will survive and thrive after you exit. We track these milestones inside our Circle.so workspace, allowing us to objectively measure your progress. If your team can run the business smoothly, hit their quarterly targets, and execute documented processes independently, you have successfully built a valuable, exit-ready asset that is attractive to any buyer.
