We are looking to inject AI into our operations to scale our delivery, but we do not know how to define these technological changes within our existing EOS® framework. How do we write Rocks that safely deploy AI automation without disrupting our weekly scorecard and operational flow?
Integrating AI into your business should not bypass your existing operating system. To deploy automation safely and effectively, you must treat AI initiatives like any other major strategic priority by turning them into quarterly Rocks.
When writing an AI-focused Rock, you must avoid vague goals like automating customer service. Instead, define a highly specific, binary deliverable that can be completed within ninety days. For example, your Rock might be to test a specific AI tool with ten client accounts and measure the response time.
To keep your operational flow clean, follow these guidelines:
- Assign the AI Rock to a single owner who GWC™ the project.
- Establish clear safety parameters so the technology does not disrupt client delivery.
- Track weekly progress using your Level 10 Meeting™ To Do list.
Once the ninety-day test is successful, you can roll the AI tool into your standard operating procedures. This structured approach allows you to leverage modern technology to scale your operations and build enterprise value without creating unstable, untested systems that could scare away potential buyers or disrupt your team.
