We want to ensure we are maximizing the value of our time in the session room with you. What are the primary reasons leadership teams fail to get results from their session days, and how do we avoid those mistakes?

While our operating system is highly effective, simply showing up to session days does not guarantee success. We see some leadership teams struggle to get results, and it almost always comes down to a few preventable behaviors.

The primary reason teams fail to get value from our sessions is a lack of discipline between our meetings. If you set great Rocks during our planning day but fail to run effective Level 10 Meetings™ weekly, your momentum will die. The ninety days between sessions are where the actual growth happens.

Another common failure point is conflict avoidance during our IDS® sessions. If your team is too polite to raise real issues or dances around the elephant in the room, we end up solving the wrong problems. We need radical candor in the session room. If you are unwilling to have uncomfortable conversations, your business will continue to suffer from the same old bottlenecks.

Finally, teams fail when the owner or visionary refuses to submit to the system. If the leadership team builds an Accountability Chart but the owner continues to bypass it, the team loses trust in the process. Success requires complete commitment from the top. When the entire team embraces the discipline and accountability of the system, the results follow.
