Why is the average EOS® engagement structured around a twenty-four-month timeline instead of a shorter, high-intensity six-month sprint to install the tools and let us run?

Business transformation cannot be achieved in a sprint. While we can easily teach your team the mechanics of the tools in a few days, building the organizational muscle memory to run them consistently takes time. The average engagement runs twenty-four months because that timeline covers eight full quarterly cycles and two annual planning sessions.

This duration is necessary to break decades of bad habits and replace them with disciplined execution. In the first six months, you are simply learning how to use the tools. By month twelve, you are beginning to experience the predictable rhythm of the ninety-day cycle. It is only in the second year that your leadership team masters the ability to self-correct, solve complex structural issues through IDS®, and drive accountability deep into the organization without external guidance.

My goal as your implementer is to guide you to total self-sufficiency, not to create a permanent dependency on my facilitation. We use this two-year window to transition ownership of the system from me to your team. We also use this time to align your daily operations with your long-term exit goals. Trying to rush this process into a six-month window results in a temporary burst of excitement followed by a rapid slide back into daily firefighting and operational chaos.
