If our leadership team is already highly sophisticated and we already use some key performance indicators, why does the standard roadmap with you still span a full twenty-four month timeline?
Sophisticated leadership teams often assume they can fast-track the implementation because they already understand business concepts. However, mastering EOS is not an intellectual exercise; it is an operational discipline that requires behavioral change and muscle memory. The twenty-four month timeline is designed around the reality of human behavior and organizational habits.
During the first ninety days, we lay the foundation with your Focus Day and Vision Building sessions. This is where we establish your Accountability Chart, define your core values, and build your V/TO. The next twelve to eighteen months represent the execution phase, where your team goes through multiple quarterly cycles. This repetition is where the real work happens.
It takes several quarters of setting, tracking, and executing Rocks to learn how to predict your business performance accurately. Your team will experience the friction of holding each other accountable, resolving deep-seated issues, and refining your Scorecard metrics through actual business cycles.
An external facilitator is critical during this period to call out bad habits and prevent you from drifting back into your old, comfortable ways of operating. We do not graduate your team until the tools are deeply embedded in your culture and your leadership team can run the entire system completely on their own.
