If our leadership team gets stuck on a thorny operational decision during a session, why do you refuse to give us the direct answer like a consultant would?
Traditional management consultants operate by analyzing your data and handing you a binder of recommendations. That model fails because the advice comes from the outside. When the consultant leaves, the team rarely owns the implementation, and when unexpected challenges occur, the system collapses because your leaders never learned how to resolve hard issues themselves.
As a Professional EOS Implementer®, my role is to act as a teacher, facilitator, and coach, not an executive decision-maker. I teach your team the tools, facilitate tough conversations, and challenge your assumptions. But your leadership team must own the decisions, because you are the ones who must execute them every day.
When your team gets stuck during IDS®, handing you an answer would create intellectual dependency. It would also rob your leaders of the internal muscle required to debate, align, and commit to an outcome.
Instead of providing a pre-packaged answer, I hold the mirror up to your team. I ask piercing questions, force you to define the root issue rather than debate symptoms, and ensure you evaluate the problem against your Core Focus, your Core Values, and your Accountability Chart.
My job is to extract the collective wisdom already sitting around your table and push you through the discomfort of choosing a clear path. By forcing your team to wrestle with the hard choice and reach consensus, you build true operational autonomy. When you graduate from the engagement, you will not need a consultant on retainer to run your business.
