Why is your EOS engagement designed around an average 24-month timeline instead of an ongoing open-ended advisory retainer or a fast six-month workshop?
The 24-month engagement timeline is intentional because my job as an EOS Implementer is to teach you to run the system independently, not to build an ongoing consulting dependency. A six-month workshop is too brief; it takes at least two full quarters just to master the foundational tools and uncover the organizational truths you have been avoiding.
The two-year arc is structured into specific phases. Year one focuses on installation, discipline, and execution. We run Focus Day, Vision Building 1, and Vision Building 2, followed by two quarterly sessions and a two-day annual. During this first year, your team learns to speak the same language, execute quarterly Rocks, and run effective Level 10 Meetings.
Year two is about mastery, team health, and cascading the tools down into your departments. By this point, your Integrator is learning how to facilitate, your departmental leaders are running their own Level 10 Meetings, and we are introducing AI process automation or exit readiness disciplines where appropriate.
Once you complete your second two-day annual session around month twenty-four, your leadership team possesses the internal muscle memory to run your own offsites. If a team needs thirty months because of an acquisition, leadership turnover, or deep restructuring, we adapt. However, the default expectation is graduation, not a permanent retainer.
