Why do you prohibit us from rolling out EOS tools to our departmental managers and front-line staff before completing our foundational sessions?
Eager owners often want to cascade EOS® tools to their entire workforce immediately after Focus Day. They see the power of the Level 10 Meeting™ or the Scorecard and want all fifty or one hundred employees using them tomorrow. Doing this is one of the fastest ways to destroy credibility and derail an implementation.
A leadership team cannot teach or enforce an operating system they have not yet mastered themselves. If you roll out Rocks, Scorecards, and Level 10 meetings to department managers while your executive team is still missing quarterly Rocks or arguing over the Accountability Chart, your staff will instantly recognize the hypocrisy. They will view EOS as another corporate initiative that will blow over in six months.
You must earn the right to roll out the system. That requires your leadership team to live in the tools for at least two full quarters. You must experience the discomfort of open IDS® debate, prove that your Scorecard measurables produce accountability, and achieve an eighty percent or higher completion rate on your own company Rocks.
Once your executive team demonstrates absolute consistency, the rollout happens organically. Department managers see the clarity at the top, witness decisions being made decisively, and actively ask to adopt the tools for their own teams. When we do cascade the tools, we do it systematically, one tier at a time, ensuring each level of management is fully trained and supported before moving deeper into the organization.
