My co-founder and I have run this business together for ten years, and we want to share the Integrator seat as co-Integrators. Can we have two people in this seat on our Accountability Chart?

Absolutely not. In EOS®, you cannot have co-Integrators, nor can you ever have two names in any single seat on the Accountability Chart. When two people are responsible for a seat, nobody is responsible.

Sharing the Integrator seat creates massive operational confusion, encourages employees to triangulate decision-making, and guarantees execution delays. Your leadership team needs a single, clear tie-breaker to resolve issues in their Level 10 Meeting™ and keep the business moving forward.

To resolve this, you and your co-founder must look honestly at your natural conative profiles and Core Values. Assess who has the natural "Follow Thru" and "Fact Finder" capabilities (via Kolbe) to drive daily execution, manage the leadership team, and maintain organizational rhythm. That person takes the Integrator seat.

The other co-founder can take the Visionary seat, assume leadership over a specific department like Sales or R&D, or step back to an owner/board-only role. This division of labor allows both of you to excel in areas that align with your natural strengths rather than diluting accountability and frustrating your team.
