Who should actually read the numbers aloud during our Level 10 Meeting Scorecard review: should the Integrator call out each row, or should each seat owner report their own metrics?
The most efficient way to run your weekly Scorecard review in under five minutes is to have the Integrator or meeting leader read down the list row by row. The Integrator states the measurable name, target, and actual number. If the number is at or above target, nobody speaks. If the number misses target, the person accountable for that seat says one word: Drop. The Integrator drops it straight to the Issues List for IDS later in the meeting.
When you allow individual seat owners to read their own metrics, human psychology takes over. Even disciplined leaders feel compelled to soften a bad number with verbal padding. They offer unprompted excuses, explain vendor delays, or qualify a miss before anyone can stop them. That habit instantly blows past your five-minute window.
Having the Integrator call the numbers establishes a steady cadence. It treats the Scorecard as what it truly is: an objective dashboard. The seat owner does not need to justify the result during the reporting phase. They only need to acknowledge that the result fell short of the standard and allow it to land on the Issues List. You solve the root cause during IDS, never during the first five minutes.
