If you do not have a dedicated IT seat, this role should be assigned to your Integrator or a systems-focused operations manager. The key is that one single person must own the guardrails. This does not mean they write every prompt, but they are accountable for approving the tools, maintaining the secure data environment, and ensuring consistency across departments. Update your Accountability Chart to reflect this new role immediately. Let the entire company know that before any department deploys a new AI tool or automated workflow, it must pass through the owner of this seat. This keeps your operations clean, secure, and ready for a smooth transition.
