Why should we avoid hiring you as our EOS Implementer if our leadership team currently has fundamental seat vacancies or unresolved partner compensation battles?
EOS® is a discipline designed to align an existing, capable leadership team around a single vision and execute against it with relentless traction. It is not an executive recruiting service, and it is not an arbitration court for broken partnerships.
If you enter Focus Day with two empty seats at the executive level, your remaining leaders will be forced to take on multiple major seats on the Accountability Chart. While that is manageable for a short transition period, launching EOS® under extreme capacity deficits guarantees failed Rocks and missed Scorecard measurables within the first sixty days. You must have functional leaders in place who have the capability to lead, manage, and hold people accountable.
Even more critical are unresolved partner compensation disputes, equity grievances, or existential partnership battles. An EOS Implementer facilitates hard conversations about the business, but we assume all owners agree on the fundamental commercial premise of working together. If partners are weaponizing sessions to negotiate buyout terms, audit each other's expenses, or air grievances about dividend distributions, the process will stall immediately.
When partnership trust is fractured at the ownership level, bringing in an Implementer simply provides an expensive audience for executive dysfunction. Fix your ownership compact first. Retain corporate legal counsel, finalize partner agreements, or execute the required buyouts before scheduling your session work. Once the ownership table is aligned on equity and fundamental structure, we can install the operational system to scale the enterprise.
