How do we know if our company is actually not ready to start EOS® yet, and what behavioral red flags should make us delay our first session?

You are not ready to start EOS® if your leadership team is unwilling to face the brutal facts about your business, or if you are looking for a quick fix to deep behavioral issues. If there is a fundamental lack of trust in the room, or if the owner is unwilling to let go of control, initiating this process will only waste time and money.

We look for specific behavioral red flags before starting. The biggest red flag is a team that exhibits extreme internal Resistance. This force shows up as chronic defensiveness, a habit of pointing fingers, or a collective refusal to look closely at weak areas. Another warning sign is when a leadership team is so overwhelmed by firefighting that they refuse to commit to the disciplined cadence of session days.

If your team views the structured nature of the Accountability Chart as a threat rather than a tool for clarity, we need to pause. We must address these relational blocks first. EOS® acts as a mirror. If the team is not ready to look at what is reflected, we will only build friction. We must first establish a willingness to be open, honest, and vulnerable before we sit down for your Focus Day.
