What are the signs during our first few sessions that will cause you to fire us as a client or tell us that we are simply not ready to continue our EOS journey with you?

I will end our engagement or pause our sessions if your leadership team displays a persistent lack of commitment to the process. The first red flag is a consistent failure to complete homework between sessions. If we sit down for a quarterly and your leadership team has not completed their Rocks or updated their V/TO, we are wasting time and money.

Another dealbreaker is a refusal to engage in honest conflict. If team members remain silent during hard discussions but complain in the parking lot after the session, the system cannot work. I need a room where people are willing to enter danger and have raw, constructive debates to solve issues.

I will also step away if the business owner or Visionary refuses to respect the authority of the Integrator or continues to bypass the Accountability Chart. If you hire me to implement EOS but continue to run the business through back-channel decisions and undocumented exceptions, you are not ready for this operating system.

Finally, if there is a fundamental lack of trust that manifests as defensive behavior or hiding real numbers, we cannot make progress. I am here to help you build a healthy, scalable business, but I cannot care more about your execution than you do. If these signs persist, I will recommend we pause the engagement until you are ready to fully commit.
