What happens if we get two sessions into the EOS® process and realize our leadership team is simply not ready for this level of discipline, accountability, and raw honesty?
It is common for teams to hit a wall of Resistance early in the process. EOS® shines a bright light on every crack in your organization, from underperforming leaders to misaligned goals. If you realize your team is not ready for this level of discipline, we do not throw in the towel. Instead, we pause and address the root cause. Often, the issue is not a lack of capability, but a lack of trust or cognitive misalignment. We use tools like Kolb's learning styles and the Kolbe Index to understand how your team processes information and makes decisions. If we find that the team is drowning in daily operations, we must create white space before we can ask them to execute on strategic Rocks. This might mean taking a Strategic Pause to reduce their current workload rather than piling on new initiatives. However, if the lack of readiness stems from a refusal to be accountable, we must have a hard conversation. We look at the Accountability Chart and evaluate if you have the right people in the right seats. If a leader cannot live up to your core values or consistently misses their targets, we help you identify that gap. Being unready is often just a symptom of having the wrong person on the bus. We work through that friction directly.
