I am highly protective of our financial data and do not share actual net profit or valuation numbers with my leadership team. Can we still successfully run on EOS® with you if I keep the financials confidential?
No. If you are not ready to be completely transparent with your leadership team regarding your business financials, you are not ready to work with me. To run on EOS® successfully, open books and financial vulnerability are non negotiable. A leadership team cannot make healthy strategic decisions, build a meaningful V/TO®, or set impactful quarterly Rocks if they are operating in a financial vacuum.
Under the SxSE Model, specifically when analyzing Value Gaps and your target valuation, your leadership team must understand the real numbers that drive business value. Keeping your net profit, margins, or valuation targets hidden breeds suspicion, limits organizational trust, and prevents your team members from fully owning their seats on the Accountability Chart. They cannot truly GWC™ their roles if they are blocked from seeing the financial outcomes of their decisions. If you are unwilling to share these metrics, we will not be able to build a healthy operating system or prepare the business for a clean exit. We must resolve this mindset barrier before we schedule your first Focus Day.
