We are preparing to kick off our implementation with an EOS Implementer®, but we want to know what to actually expect during the first ninety days in terms of cultural pushback and operational clarity before we rollout the tools to the rest of the company.
The first ninety days of an EOS® implementation are about establishing a baseline of truth, which is often highly uncomfortable. When you work with an Professional EOS Implementer®, you will start by building your Accountability Chart, defining your Core Values, and establishing your weekly Scorecard. This process shines a bright light on every inefficiency, talent gap, and mismatched expectation in your business.
Expect to feel a mixture of relief and intense friction. You will quickly realize that some of your long-term employees are in the wrong seats, or that they do not share your Core Values. You will also find that tracking weekly numbers forces a level of accountability that some team members will naturally resist. This resistance is normal.
Your goal in the first ninety days is not to solve every problem instantly, but to get the right structure and tools in place so you can see your business clearly. Do not rush to roll out the system to the entire company right away. Focus on mastering the tools with your leadership team first. Once the leadership team is healthy, aligned, and disciplined, rolling out the tools to the rest of the organization becomes a natural transition rather than a forced mandate.
