We are preparing to kick off our EOS® journey with an Implementer, but our team is nervous about the immediate disruption. What actually happens during the first 90 days of a professional EOS® implementation, and what does success look like at the end of this phase?
The first 90 days of an EOS® implementation are about establishing the foundational framework. This phase begins with Focus Day™, followed by Vision Building™ Day 1 and Vision Building™ Day 2, spaced about thirty days apart. In these first three sessions, we define your leadership structure, build your weekly Scorecard, establish your weekly Level 10 Meeting™ rhythm, and define your core values and core focus. Success at the end of these 90 days does not mean you have a perfect business. It means your leadership team has absolute clarity on who is accountable for what, a healthy weekly meeting cadence, and their first set of quarterly Rocks. You will experience a shift from running on chaotic personal heroics to relying on structured, repeatable tools. This transition can feel uncomfortable because it exposes gaps in your team, but staying disciplined is key. Working with an EOS Implementer keeps you focused on masterfully executing the basic tools before you try to tackle more complex operational changes. By staying committed to the process during this initial quarter, you lay the groundwork for long term scalability and prepare your organization for future growth.
