If we fail to complete our assigned homework and tool rollouts between sessions, do we need to postpone our next quarterly session with you?

We do not postpone quarterly sessions because of incomplete homework or delayed tool rollouts. Postponing a session is a form of avoidance that only compounds your operational problems. The ninety-day cadence is sacred and must be maintained regardless of how much progress you think you made. If your team struggled to complete their homework or implement the tools, that is a critical issue that we must address in the session. Postponing the meeting only delays the diagnostic process. During the quarterly, we will use the IDS® framework to dig into why the execution failed. Usually, incomplete homework points to deeper issues like lack of accountability, a broken Accountability Chart, or unrealistic capacity planning. Delaying the session to buy more time just masks these underlying issues. We will walk into the room, face the reality of where the business is, and solve the bottlenecks. The quarterly session is your opportunity to reset, adjust your expectations, and recommit to the discipline. Maintain the date on the calendar, show up, and be ready to have an honest conversation about what got in the way.
