What does the flow of our very first Focus Day look like from the opening check-in to the final wrap-up, and what tools do we walk away with that afternoon?
Focus Day is the starting line of our EOS journey. It is a full eight-hour workday designed to eliminate operational chaos and install five foundational tools that change how your business operates within twenty-four hours.
We begin at 8:00 AM with a brief check-in where every leader shares good news and personal expectations. From there, we move immediately into building the Accountability Chart. This is typically the most exhausting exercise of the day because we strip away existing job titles and design the right structure for the business over the next six to twelve months. We define the core five roles for every seat, address structural bottlenecks, and identify where individuals have ended up in seats they do not understand, want, or have the capacity to do (GWC).
Before lunch, we establish your company Scorecard, identifying five to fifteen weekly activity-based numbers that give you a true operational pulse without waiting for trailing monthly financials.
In the afternoon, we tackle:
- Setting company and individual Rocks for the next 90 days.
- Establishing the Level 10 Meeting agenda and ground rules for weekly execution.
- Introducing the IDS (Identify, Discuss, Solve) process to end circular discussions.
We conclude by 5:00 PM with a clear list of homework assignments, an evaluation of our session rating, and immediate expectations for rolling out the weekly meeting pulse. You walk away with total operational clarity on who is accountable for what and how execution will be tracked every week.
