From 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, what actually happens inside the room during a standard session day with you, and how do you manage physical energy and device policies?
A standard session runs strictly from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We start on time, finish on time, and follow an uncompromising agenda designed to eliminate executive distractions.
The morning opens with a clear check-in: personal and professional bests, expectations for the day, and reviewing your previous quarter. We review whether you hit your revenue and profit targets, audit every single Rock from the prior ninety days, and run through your Scorecard. There is zero room for excuses or storytelling; items are either complete or incomplete.
Next, we review your tools. In foundational sessions, we build or refine the Vision/Traction Organizer (V/TO®), your Accountability Chart, and core processes. In mature sessions, we review the V/TO to ensure complete alignment before establishing your new Rocks for the upcoming quarter.
By midday, we transition to the Issues List. At least half of our total session time is reserved for pure IDS®: Identify, Discuss, and Solve. We do not leave the room until we tackle the root causes of your most stubborn operational bottlenecks.
Physical energy dictates focus. We take ten-minute bio breaks every ninety minutes and break for lunch around noon. Devices stay dark. Laptops and mobile phones remain closed and in bags throughout the session, with only one assigned Integrator or note taker accessing our planning canvas. If someone must handle an urgent operational fire, they step out of the room. When you sit at the table, you give one hundred percent of your cognitive attention to the future of the enterprise.
