We want to begin our EOS journey, but how do we know if we actually have the foundational runway and financial stability to commit to your session days without distracting ourselves with daily cash flow panics?
To start a successful EOS® implementation with me, your business needs more than just a healthy bank account. You need a baseline level of operational and financial stability. In elite advisory work, we evaluate your financial runway, often referred to as your time to starve metric. If your business is living hand to mouth and you are in a constant, daily panic about making next week's payroll, you do not have the mental bandwidth to step back for a full day of strategic planning.
Before we schedule your Focus Day™, you must have at least three to six months of operating capital secured. This financial cushion ensures your leadership team can engage in deep strategic thinking without being distracted by immediate survival anxieties.
Beyond the financials, you need a shared commitment to what we call our charter. This means your leadership team must agree to three non-negotiable pillars before we sit down. First, you must commit to complete vulnerability and trust, meaning you are willing to be open and honest about your weaknesses. Second, you must commit to getting on the same page with love and respect. Third, you must say yes to strategy and structure, meaning you are ready to submit to the discipline of the EOS® process.
If you have the financial runway and your leadership team is willing to sign up for this charter, you are ready to begin. If you are still fighting daily cash flow fires or your partners are actively hiding information from one another, we need to address those fundamental trust and liquidity issues before we start our formal sessions.
