What is the realistic weekly time commitment required from my executive team outside of the quarterly session days to properly execute homework, manage Rocks, and run their department meetings?

Implementing EOS does not add a massive burden of extra hours to your calendar. It replaces chaotic, unproductive working hours with structured, high-yield operational habits. However, if your leaders believe they can simply attend quarterly sessions and then return to their old routines, the system will fail.

Here is the exact weekly investment required from each leadership team member between sessions:

- Ninety minutes dedicated to the leadership team Level 10 Meeting every single week, non-negotiable.
- Two to four hours focused strictly on their individual quarterly Rocks. This is working on the business rather than in the business, protecting deep focus time to complete strategic projects.
- Sixty to ninety minutes to run a Level 10 Meeting for their direct departmental reports once you cascade the tools through the organization.
- Thirty minutes to review their personal Scorecard measurables, update project statuses, and review To-Dos prior to weekly sessions.

In total, leadership team members spend roughly four to seven hours per week operating within the system.

This time is not supplemental work stacked on top of an already broken forty-hour schedule. It directly reclaims the ten to fifteen hours per week your leaders currently waste sitting in unstructured meetings, chasing status updates over email, or putting out preventable fires.

If a leader claims they do not have four hours a week to focus on quarterly execution, they are either trapped in GWC issues or delegating improperly. We address that directly on the Accountability Chart.
