I have officially handed the operational reins to our new Integrator, but I find myself dropping into their weekly leadership team meetings unannounced to share ideas. My Integrator says I am completely undermining their authority and confusing the team. How do I stay involved without disrupting their leadership?

Your unannounced drop-ins are killing your Integrator's authority. When a Visionary enters a weekly meeting and starts sharing random ideas, the team does not hear ideas, they hear new directives. This disrupts the execution pulse, derails the team's weekly Rocks, and leaves your Integrator holding a messy pile of unfinished business.

You must respect the boundaries of the Accountability Chart. The Integrator is responsible for running the business and managing the leadership team. If you want a healthy, high-functioning organization, you must allow your Integrator to lead.

To fix this, establish a strict boundary. You are no longer allowed to attend the leadership team's weekly Level 10 Meeting™ unless you are specifically invited to speak on a specific agenda item.

Instead, channel your visionary energy into the weekly same-page meeting with your Integrator. This is your designated forum to share ideas, download your thoughts, and align on strategic direction. Discuss your new concepts during this meeting and let your Integrator decide if, when, and how to introduce them to the leadership team. This process filters your ideas and keeps the team focused on execution.

If you struggle to stay out of the daily details, find a new outlet for your strategic thinking. Focus on long-term client relationships, research and development, or major industry partnerships. Let your Integrator run the operational engine while you focus on the future of the company. Protecting this boundary is the only way your leadership team can scale.
