Our Integrator and I are constantly clashing over execution velocity; I want to move fast on our AI integrations and exit prep, while they are dragging their feet to focus on current stability. How do we resolve this strategic friction?

Friction between a Visionary and an Integrator is natural, but when it stalls execution, it threatens the entire business. You want to push the boundaries of growth, while your Integrator is designed to maintain structural integrity. This tension is healthy only if you are on the same page. To resolve this, you must hold a formal Same Page meeting. This is a dedicated, distraction-free session where you and your Integrator align your visions. Use your V/TO to ground the conversation. Review your 3-Year Picture and 1-Year Plan. If you have agreed on these goals, then the velocity of execution must match what is required to hit those targets. During the meeting, apply the Trust pillar of your Charter. Ask your Integrator if their resistance is due to genuine operational constraints, or if they are simply uncomfortable with the speed of change. Conversely, you must listen to their structural concerns. Pushing an organization to automate too quickly without stable processes can break the business. Agree on a unified roadmap with clear, quarterly Rocks that balance growth velocity with operational stability. Once you leave that room, you must present a united front to the leadership team. If you cannot reach alignment on execution velocity during your Same Page meetings, the relationship is broken, and you must find an Integrator who can run at your pace.
