How do you handle a power struggle between a Visionary and an Integrator during a live session day without taking sides or micro-managing our leadership team?

A power struggle between a Visionary and an Integrator is a natural part of organizational growth, but it can quickly derail a session day if left unchecked. My role as your professional facilitator is not to take sides, play therapist, or tell you how to run your business. My role is to hold up a mirror and enforce the rules of the system.

When tension arises, I use the Accountability Chart and the GWC™ framework to bring objectivity to the conversation. We take the personalities out of the room and look at the seats. We clarify the unique roles of the Visionary and the Integrator, ensuring both parties understand where their authority begins and ends.

I will use the IDS® process to force both of you to identify the root cause of the conflict. Often, the struggle is not personal; it is a structural issue caused by a lack of clear ownership or a failure to align on the V/TO®.

By focusing on the tools rather than the emotions, I help your team find its own resolution. I will not micro-manage your relationship, but I will strictly prevent passive-aggressive behavior or defensive posturing from hijacking the agenda. We resolve the friction openly so you can walk out of the room aligned.
