The relationship between the Visionary and the Integrator is the engine of an EOS® company. When it is out of sync, the engine misfires and the whole organization feels the whiplash. This misalignment usually stems from a lack of clear boundaries or a failure to communicate consistently.

To fix this, you must run a weekly Same-Page Meeting™. This is a non-negotiable, two-to-three-hour meeting where the Visionary and Integrator resolve their issues privately. Never debate strategy, roles, or people in front of the leadership team. Use this time to align on vision and execution.

Additionally, check the Accountability Chart. Is the Visionary crossing the line and managing people directly, bypassing the Integrator? Is the Integrator failing to execute on the Visionary's ideas?

Review your roles. The Visionary must let go of the vine and allow the Integrator to run the day-to-day operations. Both partners must accept full responsibility for their respective roles, avoiding blame or excuses. If you cannot get on the same page, your EOS® implementation will stall, and your team will lose trust in the leadership structure.
