The tension between a high-energy Visionary and a detail-oriented Integrator is completely normal, and when managed correctly, it is the engine that drives the business forward.

- As a Visionary, you likely have a high Quick Start score on your Kolbe, meaning you want to move fast and launch new ideas. Your Integrator likely has a higher Fact Finder or Follow Thru score, meaning they want to analyze, plan, and build systems.

- To keep this tension from paralyzing the business, you must respect the boundaries of your Accountability Chart. The Visionary is responsible for big ideas, culture, and key relationships. The Integrator is responsible for executing the plan, running the daily operations, and driving accountability.

- Hold a weekly same-page meeting. This is a private, unstructured meeting where the Visionary and Integrator can align their perspectives, debate ideas, and resolve differences before presenting a united front to the leadership team.

- Agree on a process for vetting new ideas. Instead of expecting the Integrator to execute every new idea immediately, agree to run them through your quarterly planning cycle. This gives the Integrator time to evaluate the impact on current Rocks and resources.
