As the Visionary, I want to rapidly push AI powered operations and exit readiness, but my Integrator feels we are moving too fast and bypassing the core EOS disciplines. How do you help us resolve this strategic friction during our quarterly sessions so we do not tear the company apart?

This friction is incredibly common, especially when a business is preparing for an exit or integrating new technologies like AI. The Visionary is naturally wired to focus on future opportunities, while the Integrator is wired to maintain operational stability. My role is to help you balance these two forces during our session days.

We resolve this tension by using the V/TO® to ground your ideas in a realistic timeframe. The Visionary can capture all of their big picture ideas on the Issues List or the long term section of the V/TO®. This ensures the ideas are preserved without distracting the team from their immediate quarterly priorities.

We then work together to determine what the business can realistically handle during the next ninety days. If the Integrator can show that the core EOS® tools are not yet stable enough to support a massive new initiative, we delay it. This keeps the Visionary from burning out the team, while still pushing the Integrator to scale operations safely.
