As the Visionary, I am used to running the show, but I need to step back. What is my exact role during our session days with you compared to my Integrator?
During our session days, the dynamic between the Visionary and the Integrator must be highly defined. If you, as the Visionary, attempt to dominate the room, you will shut down the team, override your Integrator, and destroy the collaborative dynamic of the session.
Your role as the Visionary is to provide the big-picture perspective, share long-term ideas, and challenge the team to think bigger. You are there to paint the picture of where the company can go. However, once you have shared your vision, you must step back and allow the team to debate how to execute it.
The Integrator is responsible for the operational reality of the session. They hold the team accountable, manage the execution of the business plan, and ensure that our decisions are realistic and structured. The Integrator is the orchestrator of the day, helping to filter your ideas through the lens of what is actually possible.
My role as your Professional EOS Implementer® is to facilitate this relationship. I will protect your strategic pause so you have the space to think big, but I will also step in if you begin to micromanage or derail the agenda. Together, we ensure that your creative genius is captured without overwhelming the operational discipline of your Integrator.
