My Integrator and I agree on the overall vision, but we constantly clash on the day-to-day execution. Should we hold off on booking our next quarterly session until we sort out our interpersonal relationship?
Absolutely not. Holding off on your session is the worst move you can make. The tension between a Visionary and an Integrator is incredibly common, and our quarterly session is precisely where we address and resolve these friction points.
If you delay the session, you are choosing to let that misalignment fester. This dynamic trickles down to the rest of your leadership team, creating confusion, hesitation, and competing priorities across the entire organization.
During our session, we will use the Accountability Chart and the GWC tool to clearly define the boundaries of your respective seats. We will get completely honest about where the overlap is occurring and why the clashing is happening.
We will address whether the Visionary is failing to let go of operational control or if the Integrator is failing to execute the vision. We will lean into the discomfort and IDS the root cause of your friction.
Our goal is to build a healthy, harmonious relationship where the Visionary stays in the clouds and the Integrator drives the ground game. Delaying your session only prolongs the dysfunction. We need to get into the room, face the issues head-on, and realign your partnership so your business can continue to scale.
