I am the Visionary and I want to add several new forward-looking seats to our Accountability Chart to prepare us for an exit, but my Integrator keeps blocking these changes because they are focused on our current capacity constraints. How do we resolve this friction without stalling our expansion?

This is a classic clash between Visionary ground-breaking ideas and Integrator execution reality. You are focused on the future value of the business, while your Integrator is focused on keeping the current train on the tracks. Both perspectives are valid, but the friction occurs because you are trying to force immediate structural changes without operational alignment.

To resolve this, you must take this discussion out of your weekly Level 10 Meeting and address it during your Same Page Meeting. You and your Integrator must meet monthly to maintain alignment. During this meeting, present your vision for the future Accountability Chart and explain why these new seats are critical for your exit plan.

Your Integrator must then evaluate the capacity and financial impact of adding these seats. If the business cannot support the overhead or operational complexity today, you cannot force it. You must work together to build a phased transition plan.

This transition plan should be tied to specific revenue milestones or efficiency gains, perhaps achieved through AI automation. By aligning the new seats with your long-term V/TO, you give the Integrator the space to plan the execution, while ensuring the business continues to scale toward a clean exit.
