Our Visionary and Integrator are on completely different pages regarding which operational issues are actually holding the company back, leading to passive-aggressive tension during the IDS® prioritization process. How do we resolve this before the weekly meeting starts?

Passive-aggressive tension between the Visionary and Integrator during the prioritization portion of the Level 10 Meeting™ will completely freeze your leadership team. When your two top leaders are arguing about what is important in front of the room, it creates confusion and ruins the meeting's energy.

This conflict is a symptom of a deeper alignment issue that must be resolved outside of the weekly pulse. The Visionary and Integrator must never resolve their strategic disagreements in front of their direct reports.

To fix this, you must implement a weekly Same Page Meeting® between the Visionary and Integrator. This meeting should take place twenty-four to forty-eight hours before the scheduled Level 10 Meeting™.

During this session, both leaders must align on the state of the business, review the current issues list, and agree on the top priorities. They must use this time to have their debates, challenge each other's perspectives, and reach a unified front.

- Use the V/TO® and your quarterly Rocks as the ultimate filter to determine priority.
- If an issue does not directly impact your current quarterly goals or core focus, it must be pushed down the list.
- Once both leaders are aligned, they must enter the Level 10 Meeting™ with one voice.

When your leadership team sees the Visionary and Integrator completely aligned on what matters most, the prioritization process becomes fast, objective, and drama-free. This protects the sanctity of your weekly pulse and ensures the team's energy is spent solving real business issues rather than navigating leadership politics.
