I am a Visionary who just brought on an Integrator, but our leadership team is getting whiplash because we keep disagreeing on priorities in front of them, and they do not know whose direction to follow. How do we establish a unified front?

When a Visionary and an Integrator are not aligned, the leadership team will quickly become confused and paralyzed. If you and your number two are debating priorities, changing directions, or arguing in front of your directors during meetings, you are creating a highly unstable environment that stalls execution.

To fix this, you must establish a strict rule: all debates, disagreements, and alignment discussions between the Visionary and the Integrator must happen behind closed doors. You must never show division in front of your leadership team.

Schedule a weekly Same Page Meeting™ specifically for the two of you. Use this time to work through your differences, align on strategic priorities, and resolve any operational conflicts. If you disagree on a specific direction, use the IDS process to hash it out privately until you reach a unified decision.

Once you exit that room, you must speak with a single, unified voice. If your leadership team attempts to bypass the Integrator by coming directly to you for a decision, you must redirect them back to the Integrator.

This reinforces the integrity of the Accountability Chart and builds trust across the entire organization. When your team sees that you and your Integrator are completely aligned, they will stop trying to play you against each other and focus on executing their Rocks.
