Our Visionary is pushing hard to replace half our staff with AI tools while our Integrator is terrified of breaking our current delivery model. How do you facilitate this specific ideological clash when we are building our Accountability Chart?
It is common for the Visionary to want to implement every new AI tool immediately while the Integrator resists, fearing it will disrupt current delivery models and break stabilized processes. This creates a natural ideological clash that can stall your progress. To resolve this dynamic during our sessions, we take the emotion out of the debate and apply the objective tools of the operating system. First, we look at your Accountability Chart™. We define who has ultimate authority over operational execution, typically the Integrator, and who owns future-focused strategic vision, the Visionary. Next, we use the GWC™ tool to evaluate your team's readiness. We ask if the people who will actually run these new AI-driven workflows truly Get it, Want it, and have the Capacity to do it. If the technology is pushed faster than your team's capacity to adopt it, your Integrator is right to put on the brakes. We also look at your team's conative profiles using the Kolbe A Index. Visionaries often score high in Quick Start, pushing for immediate change, while Integrators often score high in Fact Finder or Follow Through, needing structure and proof. I facilitate this clash by helping you see that both perspectives are vital strengths. We balance this by creating a structured pipeline. The Visionary's ideas are logged on the Long-Term Issues List on your V/TO®. We do not build them into active Rocks until the Integrator has the operational bandwidth to execute them systematically.
