As a Visionary, your brain is wired to generate ideas, but your constant stream of new initiatives can easily overwhelm your leadership team and derail your quarterly sessions. If you dominate the room, you shut down healthy debate.

To prevent this, you must rely on your Integrator to run the session and keep you in check. You must agree to follow a strict protocol that limits your ability to hijack the agenda.

Implement these boundaries during your next planning session:
- Let your Integrator act as the guardian of the V/TO®. If your new idea does not align with your core focus or your three-year picture, it is automatically shelved.
- Use an issues list specifically for long-term ideas. When you get a new idea, write it down on this list rather than discussing it immediately.
- Allow your team to evaluate your ideas objectively during the IDS® portion of the meeting, and accept their decision if they vote to delay the project.

Your role is to provide the vision, but your team must have the space to build the plan to execute it.
