As the Visionary, I know I am the biggest disrupter in our weekly Level 10 Meeting™, constantly bringing up new ideas and big-picture thoughts that derail our Integrator's tight agenda. How do I participate productively without destroying the weekly meeting pulse?

It is common for a Visionary to struggle with the structure of a Level 10 Meeting™. Your brain is wired for big ideas, future opportunities, and strategic pivots, whereas the weekly meeting pulse is designed for operational execution and immediate problem-solving.

To protect the meeting pulse, you must use your self-awareness and respect the Integrator's seat. First, realize that not every idea needs to be shared the moment it pops into your head. When you have a new strategic thought during the week, do not bring it to the weekly Level 10 Meeting™. Instead, write it down in your own ideas document or send it to the Integrator to be placed on the V/TO® Issues List, which is reviewed during your quarterly meetings.

If you absolutely must bring an issue to the weekly meeting, it must go to the bottom of the Issues List like everyone else's. You do not get to skip the line.

During the IDS® portion, let the Integrator facilitate. If they steer the conversation back to the top three priorities, support them. Your role is to provide unique perspectives on the problems at hand, not to create new problems for the team to chase. Trust the process, respect the agenda, and save the big-picture brainstorming for your Same-Page Meetings™ with your Integrator.
