Our Visionary has discovered five different niches where we could launch highly profitable, AI-driven micro-services with almost zero human effort. Our Integrator is pulling their hair out because this is distracting us from our core business. How do we evaluate these new opportunities during our planning sessions without violating our Core Focus?

A Visionary who sees endless opportunities to launch AI-driven services can easily derail a company. Because AI makes launching new products feel cheap and easy, it creates a massive risk of shiny object syndrome, which can destroy your operational efficiency.

You must protect your Core Focus. During your quarterly and annual planning sessions, use your Core Focus on your V/TO as a strict filter. Every new AI-driven service idea must be run through two tests: Does it serve our target market? And does it align with our core passion?

If the answer to either question is no, the idea must be rejected, no matter how profitable it seems. Your Integrator must hold the line on this. Do not let these ideas clutter your daily operations.

If a new AI service does pass the filter, do not launch it immediately. Put it on your Long-Term Issues List. Only bring it forward as a strategic Rock if you have the operational capacity and cash to support it without distracting from your core business. Focus is your greatest leverage. A single, highly profitable business line that executes flawlessly is worth far more than five distracted, half-automated micro-services.
