A Visionary's job is to look to the future and find new opportunities, but without a filter, this creative energy turns into operational chaos. When a Visionary constantly pushes new AI tools down to the team, execution stalls because employees are trying to adopt software rather than serving clients. You must use your Accountability Chart to create a clear gatekeeper.

Typically, this responsibility belongs to the Integrator. You must establish a clear rule: the Visionary can explore and suggest tools, but the Integrator owns the actual technology stack and operational workflow. Update the Integrator's seat on the Accountability Chart to include a bullet point for technology integration and workflow preservation. This makes them the official filter for all new software ideas.

When the Visionary brings back a new AI tool, it must go onto the Issues List for the weekly leadership meeting. Use the IDS® process to evaluate the tool. The Integrator and the team must ask: Does this tool align with our current quarterly Rocks? Will it directly help us achieve our 3-Year Picture? If the answer is no, the tool is shelved. This structure allows your Visionary to keep researching the cutting edge while protecting your team from whiplash and keeping your operations focused on execution.
