My Integrator and I are constantly misaligned on our operational priorities, and our Kolbe profiles show we have completely different conative styles. How do we use our Kolbe A Profiles to fix our Same Page Meetings?
Friction between a Visionary and an Integrator is incredibly common, but it can be highly productive if you understand each other's conative styles. Your Kolbe A Profile measures how you instinctively take action. If you are a high Quickstart, you naturally solve problems through rapid experimentation, change, and risk-taking. If your Integrator is a high Fact Finder and Follow Thru, they solve problems through deep research, structure, and systematic execution. In your Same Page Meetings™, this difference can feel like a handbrake. You want to move fast, while they want to ask fifty questions and build a plan. To resolve this, you must use your Kolbe profiles to set rules of engagement. Recognize that your Integrator's questions are not a personal attack on your ideas. They are simply trying to operationalize your vision. In your meetings, agree to let the Visionary pitch raw ideas without immediate judgment, but give the Integrator the space to analyze the details before committing company resources. By understanding your natural cognitive drives, you can stop fighting each other and start leveraging your complementary strengths.
