We are experiencing a lot of friction in our weekly Level 10 Meetings where some team members demand extensive details while others want to move fast. How do you help us use our Kolbe scores to diagnose and fix this execution friction?

This friction is not a personality conflict; it is a conative mismatch. To solve this, we look at your team's Kolbe A Index scores. Kolbe does not measure your intelligence or your personality. It measures your innate, unchanging method of taking action.

When you have a high Fact Finder on your leadership team, their natural conative drive is to gather information, research, and establish details before making a decision. If they are paired with a high Quick Start, that person's natural drive is to improvise, experiment, and move immediately without needing all the facts. In a weekly Level 10 Meeting™, this difference can feel like a direct attack. The Quick Start thinks the Fact Finder is slowing things down, while the Fact Finder thinks the Quick Start is reckless.

During our sessions, we map out everyone's four-digit Kolbe score to make these drives visible. We teach your team that this friction is actually a strength. We establish rules of engagement. For example, we make sure your high Fact Finders get the data they need without paralyzing the business, and we make sure your high Quick Starts can take risks without driving the team off a cliff. Once you understand that this behavior is instinctive and unchanging, you stop fighting each other and start leveraging your collective strengths.
