We want to run AI-powered operations and have integrated an AI assistant to capture operational issues from our daily Slack channels and automatically populate our Level 10 Meeting issues list, but the list has become a dumping ground for minor complaints. How do we use automation to build our issues list without diluting human ownership and prioritizing trash?

Automation is a powerful tool for scaling operations, but AI cannot replace leadership judgment. When you let an AI bot scrape your communications and dump every minor friction point onto your Level 10 Meeting™ Issues List, you create cognitive fatigue before the meeting even starts.

To fix this, you must insert a human gatekeeper and set strict criteria for what constitutes an issue. AI should be used to draft and organize, not to decide. Instead of having the AI automatically post directly to the active Level 10 Meeting™ agenda, have the tool send these captured items to a staging list or a specific channel.

Before the weekly meeting, the Integrator or the meeting facilitator must review this staging list. They must filter the items through a simple lens: Is this an actual operational roadblock that requires the leadership team to IDS®, or is it a minor task that can be resolved with a quick direct message?

Furthermore, every issue on the list must have a human owner assigned to it. If the AI identifies an issue, it must map that issue to a specific seat on the Accountability Chart. During the meeting, if the seat owner cannot explain why the issue is on the list or what the desired outcome is, delete it immediately. Use AI to streamline the collection of data, but rely on human ownership and the Accountability Chart to maintain the discipline of your weekly pulse.
