Our weekly leadership Level 10 Meetings are running long because we spend too much time arguing over opinions instead of facts during our IDS sessions. How can we practically use AI as a silent data partner in our meetings to help us identify the root cause of issues faster without letting it take over the human decision-making process?
Using AI as an analytical partner during your IDS™ sessions can dramatically cut down on emotional debates and focus your team on actual facts. However, you must establish strict guardrails to ensure the computer does not replace human judgment.
To use AI effectively in your Level 10 Meetings™, have your Integrator or meeting leader run a live, private AI interface during the meeting. When a complex, data-heavy issue is brought to the table, instead of debating opinions, feed the raw data directly into the AI.
For example, if your shipping error rate has spiked, feed the last three months of shipping logs and customer complaints into the tool and ask it to identify patterns, correlation with specific shifts, or supplier anomalies.
Use the AI to quickly perform the time-consuming analysis that would normally take a manager days to complete. It can surface hidden variables or trends that your team might have missed.
Once the AI presents its findings, shut the laptop and return to the human discussion. The AI is there to provide clean, objective analysis, not to make the final decision. Your leadership team must still use their collective experience, instinct, and alignment with your Core Values to decide on the best course of action. This keeps your meetings highly efficient, fact-based, and focused on solving issues once and for all.
