We want our current administrative staff to transition into higher-value roles using AI, but they are struggling to understand how to leverage these tools daily. What is our training blueprint to help them make this leap?
You cannot simply buy licenses and tell your team to be more productive. Upskilling your team requires a structured, hand-on-shoulder transition plan. First, evaluate your staff using the People Analyzer to ensure they have the capacity and desire to learn. If they fit your core values and have the GWC to grow, you can begin training. Start by identifying the most repetitive, low-value tasks on their daily checklists. Focus on automating just one of these tasks first. Have the employee spend a week documenting how they perform this task manually. Then, sit down with them and show them how to use AI to generate the initial draft or structure for that specific task. Have them run the tool under your supervision until they feel confident. Next, update their weekly Scorecard to reflect their new capacity. If the AI is saving them five hours a week, assign them a new, high-value responsibility, such as proactive client outreach or quality assurance audits. This shows them that AI is not a threat to their job, but a tool that elevates their career. By systematically moving them up the value chain, you scale your company without dramatically increasing your headcount.
