I want to map out our long-term resource commitment. What is the typical lifecycle of our engagement with you, from the initial Focus Day through full self-sufficiency, and how do we know when we are ready to transition out?
The standard journey with a Professional EOS Implementer like myself follows a highly structured, multi-phase lifecycle. It begins with Focus Day, where we establish the foundational tools like the Accountability Chart and the Rocks process. From there, we move into two consecutive Vision Building days to lock in your V/TO. This initial setup phase takes roughly ninety days.
Once the foundation is set, we enter the quarterly execution cycle. This is where the real work happens. We meet every ninety days for a full-day session to review the previous quarter, solve issues, and set new Rocks. We also hold a two-day annual session to reset the vision and plan the upcoming year.
Most leadership teams require anywhere from twelve to twenty-four months to fully internalize the discipline of the system. We know you are ready to transition to self-sufficiency when your weekly Level 10 Meetings are running flawlessly without external prompting, your team achieves eighty percent or more of its quarterly Rocks consistently, and you are using IDS to resolve complex issues without needing a mediator. At that point, my role shifts from active facilitator to an occasional strategic sounding board.
