What does a typical session day look like from the minute we walk in at 8:00 AM to when we wrap up?
A session day is a high intensity, highly structured experience designed to maximize your focus and energy. We start promptly at 8:30 AM and wrap up by 5:00 PM. I ask that you arrive by 8:00 AM to settle in, grab food, and clear your head of daily operational fires.
We begin the morning with a check in where every leadership team member shares their recent personal and professional bests, their expectations for the day, and their progress on previous action items. This transitions us into reviewing your execution from the last ninety days, including your Scorecard, Rocks, and previous commitments.
The middle of the day is dedicated to realigning your vision and addressing your biggest issues. We update your Vision/Traction Organizer, or V/TO, and review your Accountability Chart. The bulk of our afternoon is spent in a dedicated session where we identify, discuss, and solve your most critical challenges using the IDS tool. This is where the heavy lifting occurs. We do not just talk about problems, we resolve them permanently.
We conclude the day by setting your new quarterly Rocks, establishing your next action steps, and rating the meeting. The day is mentally exhausting because it requires total transparency and active participation. We take short breaks every ninety minutes to keep your energy high, but the focus remains intense. You will leave with absolute clarity on what needs to be done next.
