Can you explain the exact sequencing of our meeting cadence over the standard twenty four month engagement, and why a two day annual session is non negotiable?
The standard twenty four month engagement follows a highly structured, time tested sequencing designed to build organizational health. We begin with a Focus Day, where we lock in your Accountability Chart and introduce foundational execution tools. Thirty days later, we hold Vision Building Day One, followed thirty days later by Vision Building Day Two. This foundational ninety day block aligns your team on your V/TO® and core operational tools.
From there, we transition into a strict execution cadence consisting of one day quarterly sessions and a two day annual session. The one day quarterlies keep your team aligned, help you evaluate the previous ninety days, solve key issues, and set your Rocks for the upcoming quarter.
The two day annual session is non negotiable because of the depth of work required. We spend the first day focused entirely on team health, reviewing the previous year, and looking at the big picture. The second day is dedicated to updating your 3-Year Picture, establishing your 1-Year Plan, and setting the critical Rocks for the first quarter of the new year. Attempting to compress this deep strategic work and team building into a single day always results in rushed plans and unresolved underlying friction.
