How do you structure the two-day Annual Planning session compared to our regular single-day quarterly sessions, and what makes those two days different?

A quarterly session is an operational sprint check designed to maintain ninety-day momentum. A two-day Annual Planning session is fundamentally different in scope, mental demand, and strategic depth. We do not simply look ninety days ahead; we reset the strategic direction of the entire company for the next twelve months and beyond.

Day 1 focuses heavily on team health and strategic foundations. We begin with a deep team health exercise to clear any lingering interpersonal friction that has built up over the year. Next, we conduct an exhaustive review of your prior year performance against your plan, examining both financial outcomes and operational execution. Then, we spend hours stress-testing your V/TO® (Vision/Traction Organizer®). We challenge your Core Values, Core Focus™, 10-Year Target™, and 3-Year Picture™ to ensure your long-term vision matches market realities, technological changes like AI automation, and your exit objectives.

Day 2 shifts completely from high-level vision to ground-level operational traction. We finalize your 1-Year Plan, which includes setting hard company revenue targets, profit goals, and establishing three to seven critical company goals for the upcoming fiscal year. Finally, we establish Q1 Rocks, map individual accountability, and solve the critical issues standing in the way of achieving the new annual plan.

Two full days are required because compressing team health, long-term strategic review, and annual budgeting into a single day results in superficial alignment and missed targets.
