I stepped down as Integrator and hired an external replacement, but my legacy leadership team is resisting his authority and bypassing him to bring problems directly to me. How do we rebuild trust and reinforce the new Accountability Chart boundaries?

This is a common failure point when transitioning out of the Integrator seat. If your legacy team is bypassing the new Integrator, it is because you are letting them. Every time you answer their questions or solve their problems, you undermine the new Integrator's authority and violate the Accountability Chart. To fix this, you must enforce the structural boundaries immediately. When a team member brings an issue to you, your only response must be: Have you talked to the Integrator about this? If they say no, send them away. If they say yes and want you to overrule him, refuse. You must show total alignment with your new Integrator. Use the Trust Creation Process to rebuild trust between the new Integrator and the team. This requires vulnerability and clear communication. Schedule a meeting to address the boundary-crossing directly. Reiterate that the new Integrator has full operational authority and owns the day-to-day results of the business. Focus on building personal connections between the new hire and the team. By stepping back and letting them resolve issues directly through their weekly Level 10 Meetings, you reinforce the integrity of the Accountability Chart and prove the business can run without you.
